Aduana FC will be eager to return to winning ways when they host bottom-placed Eleven Wonders FC in a Ghana Premier League matchweek 25 clash on Sunday at the Nana Agyeman Badu I Park in Dormaa Ahenkro.
The Ogya Boys head into the fixture looking to bounce back from a narrow 1-0 defeat to Dreams FC in their previous league outing.
That result extended Aduana’s winless run to four matches in the league, a sequence that has slowed their push for the top places.
Currently sitting fifth on the table, Aduana know that victory on Sunday could lift them to third place depending on results elsewhere.
Their home form, however, remains one of their biggest strengths this season. The Dormaa-based side have suffered just one defeat at home in the league, recording six wins and five draws at the Nana Agyeman Badu I Park.
For Wonders, the campaign has been a difficult one from the start. The newbies remain rooted to the bottom of the table with just nine points after 24 matches, having managed only two victories all season.
Their recent form paints an even bleaker picture. Wonders have lost their last seven matches in all competitions, including a heavy 4-0 defeat to Division One side Attram De Visser in the FA Cup.
Away form has also been a major concern, with the side collecting only two points on the road this season.
