Gachagua Vindicated After EPRA Announces New Fuel Prices

Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has been vindicated after The Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) announced new fuel prices.

According to updates from credible sources, EPRA has revised fuel prices and announced the new prices of petrol, diesel and kerosene that will apply starting today midnight.

The source indicate that the price of Super Petrol has been increased by Ksh 12.93 to retail at Ksh 226.96. Diesel has been increased by Ksh 9.90 to retail at Ksh 227.76. Kerosene has also been increased by Ksh 28.49 to retail at Ksh 219.87.

The update of new fuel prices has continued to elicit mixed reactions from Kenyans. It comes hours after Rigathi Gachagua revealed that the price of petrol and diesel will be increased by Ksh 12 and Ksh 9 respectively.

Gachagua in a post shared earlier during the day had accused President Ruto of planning to hike fuel prices with an aim of raising money for bribing voters. Remember Gachagua is on record bragging that he receives Intel from a section of officials within Ruto’s Administration who are unhappy with the current regime’s leadership style. His prior revelation of plan to hike fuel price arguably leaves one wondering whether the former DP has moles who secretly give him such information within Ruto’s Government
