Ruto Spotted Reprimanding His Bodyguards After Quickly Swinging to Stop Handshakes From Crowd~Video

President William Ruto has sparked widespread conversation after video footage captured him fiercely reprimanding his elite presidential bodyguards during a public stop on his Rift Valley tour.

The dramatic incident unfolded in Konyao, West Pokot County, where the Head of State lost his temper and almost slapped a personal security officer who aggressively blocked local mama mbogas and residents from approaching to greet him.

In the viral video, President Ruto quickly swung around after observing his close protection detail physically pushing back eager members of the public.

Visibly angered by the aggressive security intervention, the Commander-in-Chief intervened instantly, gesturing sharply toward his security team while demanding that they step aside immediately.

The President’s sudden reaction startled his close protection detail, forcing the officers to back off rapidly as the Head of State personally motioned for the local women and traders to come forward for handshakes and brief greetings.

This sharp encounter has added another fiery chapter to the President’s ongoing grassroots engagements across West Pokot and surrounding counties.

Earlier in the same tour, the Head of State publicly scolded technical officials over sound equipment delays and sternly addressed political scuffles on stage.

However, this latest security altercation has underscored his strong determination to maintain direct, uninhibited contact with ordinary citizens during public appearances.

The footage has circulated rapidly across social media platforms, drawing mixed reactions from observers.

While critics have noted the rising frustration among executive staff during the high-stakes tour, supporters have lauded President Ruto for protecting ordinary citizens from overzealous security protocols.

By publicly overriding his security detail, the President has sent a firm message that his connection with the grassroots must remain accessible throughout his regional tour.
