A Multi-Storey Building With Doors Opening Without Balconies Leaves Kenyans Confused

A multi storey building under construction in Kamakis has sparked curiosity and amusement online after a video showed several doors installed along its exterior walls without balconies or visible walkways.

The building attracted attention after a passerby recorded the unusual design and shared the footage on social media. The video shows doors fitted on different floors, seemingly opening directly into the open air.

Unlike conventional doors leading to balconies or external corridors, these entrances appear to have no landing or supporting structure outside them. The building also features windows fitted with metal grills, making the doors look even more unusual.

The man recording the video expressed disbelief as he examined the structure. He asked viewers whether they could see what he was seeing before joking that anyone opening the doors would meet their maker.

He identified the location as Kamakis and explained that he had discovered the building while passing through the area.

The footage quickly attracted attention, with viewers questioning why the doors had been installed without visible balconies. Some wondered whether the construction was incomplete, while others suggested that balconies might be added during a later phase of the project.

However, no official explanation regarding the building’s design has emerged.

The unusual structure also inspired humorous reactions from social media users, with some joking about the potential danger of opening the doors. Others questioned whether the design had been approved or whether the openings were part of an architectural plan.

The video has continued to generate discussion because of the unusual placement of the doors, which appear to serve no immediate purpose in their current state.

As construction continues, viewers remain curious about whether the openings will eventually lead to balconies or whether the building’s final design will offer an explanation for the unusual feature.
