During the live broadcast, the gospel musician appeared unfazed by the comments from her critics and disclosed that she had not even completed the registration process for her Range Rover.

She, however, revealed that she intended to register the newly gifted Chinese vehicle under the name “Empress 2”, suggesting that she was ready to give the Changan SUV its own special identity.

In a statement that appeared to directly challenge those making fun of her birthday present, Empress Gifty openly declared that she preferred the Changan vehicle to her Range Rover.

She further explained that her preference was not based merely on appearances, revealing that she had already driven the new SUV to work and was impressed by some of its features.

According to her, the vehicle’s massage function was particularly enjoyable, as it allowed her to experience additional comfort while driving.

“Should I even start the car, or should I use the Range? I haven’t even registered the Range. I will register the Range. And I will register the Chinese car as Empress 2. I prefer the Chinese car,” she stated during the TikTok Live session.

Her comments have attracted attention because they come amid a social media disagreement involving popular Ghanaian socialite Afia Schwarzenegger, who previously mocked the musician over the birthday surprise.
