Charlene Ruto Wows in Elegant Bridal Shower as Details of Her Upcoming White Wedding Emerge

Charlene Ruto has offered a glimpse of her pre wedding celebrations after hosting a bridal shower ahead of her white wedding to Tanzanian fiancé Isaya Yunge.

The daughter of President William Ruto shared photographs from the celebration on Tuesday, November 3,giving followers a look at an occasion marked by decorations and coordinated outfits with family and friends.

The event embraced a white and purple colour theme.Charlene stood out in a white gown,while guests including her sister Stephanie,wore pink outfits.

A welcome banner bearing the words “Welcome to Charlene’s Bridal Shower” set the tone for the gathering,while the seating area was arranged with decorative details and small lights.

A cake added to the celebrations, carrying messages including “Miss Babe to Mrs Babe” and “Hey Mrs Yunge”.The designs reflected the occasion and the transition Charlene is preparing to make as she gets ready to marry her fiancé.

In sharing moments from the event,Charlene expressed appreciation for the women who have accompanied her through life and gathered to celebrate her.She also highlighted the importance of faith, friendship and support as she begins married life.

The bridal shower comes nearly three months after the couple held their traditional Kalenjin engagement ceremony known as Koito on August 8, 2026.

The ceremony took place at President Ruto’s Intonna Heritage Farm in Kilgoris, Narok County, bringing together relatives,friends and prominent guests from Kenya and Tanzania.

Koito is a cultural occasion that brings two families together and formalises their relationship ahead of marriage.The event placed Charlene and Yunge’s union in the public spotlight after the pair had largely kept their relationship private.

Yunge is a Tanzanian technology entrepreneur associated with SomaApp,a platform that connects African students with scholarship opportunities. His work earned him recognition,including the Queen’s Young Leaders Award in 2018.

With the bridal shower held,attention has turned to the couple’s forthcoming white wedding.The latest photographs have offered another glimpse into celebrations surrounding the union of the Kenyan president’s daughter and her Tanzanian fiance.
