NLC reach deal as FG approves N70,000 transport allowance for public servants

The federal government and the leadership of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) on Tuesday reached a series of resolutions aimed at easing the economic burden on Nigerian workers and addressing long-standing welfare grievances.Following a conciliation meeting held at the federal ministry of labour and employment both parties agreed on immediate interventions, including a transport allowance, the clearing of salary arrears, and the constitution of a committee to negotiate a new national minimum wage.
