Nancy Isime Makes Executive Producer Debut: ‘Madam EP’ Era Begins
Nancy Isime is stepping into a new role: executive producer. The Nollywood actress announced her debut behind the camera, marking a fresh chapter in her career after years of starring on screen.
In a video announcement, Isime shared her excitement and nerves about the transition. “Well yes, you’ve known me as an actor. But this time, I’m stepping into a completely new chapter. This is my first production as executive producer!” she said.
She admitted to feeling anxious, adding, “Oh my God, guys, I can’t lie… I’ve never… my heart is doing gbi-gbi-gbi-gbi-gbi. Can I do this? Can I do this? Am I ready? I think it’s about time. Me self don try, huh?”
Isime wants her audience to see the full process of filmmaking, from early meetings to sponsorship discussions and marketing decisions. “But I need you guys. I really, truly need you,” she said. “So come with me on this journey. Let’s go behind the scenes. Let’s go to the meetings, the sponsorship… Let’s do some marketing… We’ll see how it goes, guys. So see what I do. But for now, I’m just really excited to announce this to you. So, let’s begin. Shall we?”
The announcement video also offers glimpses of Isime in corporate engagements, attending meetings, getting styled on set, and speaking with camera operators, hinting at more production-side content to come.
For the announcement, Isime wore a metallic brown ensemble with an oversized collar, structured shoulders, and gathered balloon sleeves, paired with a gold leaf statement necklace and finger-wave hair. The look was completed with glossy lip liner, fitting for a boardroom-ready executive.
As she embarks on this journey, fans are invited to follow along and see how her first production comes together. With her openness and enthusiasm, Isime is ready to show a new side of her creativity.
