“We Say a BIG Thank You” – Pauline Njoroge Expresses Gratitudes to Kenyans supporting Edwin Sifuna
Political strategist Pauline Njoroge has expressed gratitude to Kenyans who have supported Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna and chosen The Equitable Party (TEP) as their political vehicle ahead of the 2027 General Election.
In a message shared following the unveiling of TEP, Njoroge thanked supporters for standing with the movement and backing Sifuna, who has been positioned as the party’s presidential candidate and leader.
“For standing with us and fighting by our side, for the overwhelming support you have shown our Presidential Candidate and Party Leader Edwin Sifuna, and for choosing TEP as your party, we say a BIG thank you!” Njoroge stated.
Her message comes shortly after Sifuna was unveiled as TEP leader and presidential candidate during an event in Nairobi on October 4, 2026. The development provided Sifuna and the wider Linda Mwananchi Movement with an established political platform as preparations for the 2027 polls continue.
The Equitable Party was registered in 2022 and has the slogan “Tusawazishe”. Its political agenda has included issues such as equity, social and economic justice and fair distribution of national resources. Following the latest restructuring, Sifuna and his allies have adopted the party as their political vehicle.
Njoroge’s remarks also highlight the importance her political camp attaches to grassroots support as the new party seeks to build its membership and organisational structures ahead of the next General Election.
The transition to TEP follows efforts by the Linda Mwananchi Movement to establish itself as a formal political organisation. The movement had encountered difficulties over the reservation of its name before the Political Parties Disputes Tribunal intervened in the matter.
Sifuna’s move has since attracted attention from several political figures associated with the broader opposition space, although the final shape of political alliances ahead of 2027 remains subject to further negotiations and developments.
Njoroge’s message therefore serves as an appreciation to supporters while reinforcing the political momentum surrounding Sifuna and TEP. As the country moves closer to the 2027 elections, Kenyans will be watching how the new political vehicle develops and what role it will play in the wider opposition landscape.
