Minister for Foreign Affairs, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has announced the repatriation of Ghanaian musician Barosky who was stranded in the United Kingdom.

In a statement, the Minister said Barosky is now safely back in Ghana after the Ministry fully sponsored his return last night as part of its consular mandate.

“I can confirm that we have repatriated Barosky and he is safely back with us in Ghana. As part of our consular mandate, the Foreign Ministry fully sponsored his repatriation to Ghana last night. We are also providing psychosocial support and a reintegration financial assistance,” he said.

Mr. Ablakwa expressed gratitude to Ghanaians, particularly Nana Romeo, for bringing Barosky’s plight in Manchester to public attention, and commended the Ghana High Commission in the UK for its coordination.

“We strive to leave no Ghanaian behind. For God and Country,” he added.
