His Majesty King Mohammed VI of Morocco has sent a formal message of congratulations to Yamandú Ramon Antonio Orsi Martinez, the President of the Eastern Republic of Uruguay, to mark the occasion of Uruguay’s National Day.
A message of friendship and cooperation from Morocco’s king
In his message, the Moroccan sovereign conveyed his sincere congratulations and extended his best wishes for the continued progress and prosperity of the Uruguayan people.
In addition to celebrating the national holiday, the communication highlighted a mutual desire to strengthen diplomatic and economic relations between the two countries.
Specifically, King Mohammed VI expressed his “willingness to bolster ties between the Kingdom and the Eastern Republic of Uruguay”.
As reported by Maghreb Arabe Press Agency, the king also emphasized his commitment “to continue working together with the Uruguayan President towards broader horizons of bilateral cooperation in the interests of both countries and their friendly peoples“.
International rulers extend warm wishes to Morocco’s king on youth day
In addition to his diplomatic outreach to South America, the Moroccan monarch, recognized as Africa’s richest king, recently received high-profile congratulatory messages from prominent world leaders to celebrate Youth Day.
Chinese President Xi Jinping sent a letter where he “hailed the deep historical friendship binding Morocco and China,” noting that “mutual trust between both countries has been further strengthened” over a decade of strategic partnership.
Furthermore, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman extended his “warm congratulations and sincere wishes for good health and happiness to His Majesty the King”.
Sweden’s King Carl Gustaf R also shared his “most sincere greetings and best wishes for happiness to His Majesty the King and prosperity to the Moroccan people” to mark the celebratory occasion.
