Accra, Aug. 25, GNA – Fidelity Bank Ghana has renovated a multipurpose auditorium at the Police Public Safety Training School (PPSTS) at Pwalugu in the Upper East Region.
The refurbished facility will provide improved space for training, conferences, strategic engagements, and other institutional activities.
Mr Harold Ansah, Head of Personal Banking at Fidelity Bank, handed over the facility to Assistant Commissioner of Police, Dr Wilson Aniagyei at a brief ceremony.
Fidelity Bank has, over the years, contributed to the school’s training and safety needs, including the construction of a mechanised borehole, upgrading kitchen facilities and providing essential equipment, including cookers, gas cylinders, dining tables, and benches to support the institution’s daily operations.
Speaking on behalf of Godfred Attafuah, Divisional Director of Retail Banking, Mr Ansah said the Corporate Social investment would enhance the operational and service capacity of the men and women protecting lives and property.
“By investing in the spaces where our law enforcement professionals learn and strategise, we are reinforcing our commitment to national security and community well-being.
“This is not a transaction. It is a partnership we intend to sustain,” he said.
Mr Ansah said the Bank would continue to identify challenges and opportunities and contribute to institutional development.
ACP Dr Aniagyei thanked Fidelity Bank on behalf of the Inspector General of Police, for the support provided over the years.
He said the intervention would support the development and training of professionals as the Service continued to maintain public safety.
ACP Aniagyei expressed the institution’s commitment to deepen the relationship with Fidelity Bank in the years ahead.
Fidelity Bank described the renovation as an investment in the people and the mission it served.
