Entertainment business consultant and hypeman Samuel Tunde Busari Adeniji, popularly known as CRANE, says his mission is to promote Nigerian talent and preserve the country’s vibrant hype culture through community-driven initiatives and live entertainment.

Speaking on his journey in the entertainment industry, CRANE said he has spent more than a decade building a platform that connects creatives, showcases emerging talents, and projects Nigerian entertainment to wider audiences.

According to him, his passion for entertainment dates back to childhood and inspired him to pursue a professional career in the industry in 2014.

“I’ve always loved entertainment from childhood, and I enjoy meeting new people. That passion naturally became the foundation of my career,” he said.

Based in Lagos, CRANE began his career as an artist in Amuwo Odofin Local Government Area before expanding into entertainment consulting and professional hype performances. He said participating in the MITN Project in 2016 helped broaden his industry exposure and strengthen his professional network.

Over the years, he has established himself as a familiar figure on the Lagos entertainment scene, combining live performances with talent promotion and audience engagement.

CRANE said his focus extends beyond entertaining crowds to creating opportunities for young creatives while celebrating Nigeria’s cultural identity.

“As a multifaceted creative, entertainment business consultant, and hypeman, I have been able to build a community that understands and appreciates its rich heritage while keeping hype culture alive. My brand exists to make Nigerian talent visible, viable, and valuable—from the streets of Lagos to the global stage,” he said.

Among his notable initiatives is A Night With CRANE, an annual entertainment event that has been held consistently over the past four years. The event brings together entertainers, music enthusiasts, creatives, and industry stakeholders to encourage collaboration and provide exposure for emerging talent.

He currently serves as a resident hypeman at Club Bay Rock and ELYSIUM Lagos, where he continues to perform at live events and contribute to the city’s nightlife and entertainment ecosystem.

Looking ahead, CRANE disclosed that preparations are underway for this year’s edition of A Night With CRANE, scheduled for November 2. He also announced plans to release his first official hype mixtape, describing it as another step in expanding his influence within Nigeria’s entertainment industry.

While he did not cite any recent awards, CRANE maintained that the impact of his work should be measured by the opportunities it has created for upcoming entertainers and the community he has built over the years.

As Nigeria’s entertainment industry continues to attract global attention, CRANE said sustained investment in local talent, cultural expression, and collaborative platforms will remain essential to the sector’s continued growth.
