Videos and photos that circulated online showed a badly damaged vehicle said to be linked to the socialite, with eyewitnesses claiming the accident occurred in the early hours of the day.
According to reports, Sam Larry’s vehicle allegedly rammed into a trailer on the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Road. It was further claimed that one of his associates, identified as Wale, who reportedly served as his bouncer, died at the scene, while Sam Larry was rushed to a hospital for treatment.
The incident sparked widespread reactions online, with several social media users speculating about the extent of his injuries. Investigative journalist Kemi Olunloyo also claimed that the socialite might lose both legs as a result of the crash.
However, a new video that surfaced online on the night of July 10, 2026, appears to show Sam Larry in good condition.
In the clip, the music promoter is seen standing firmly alongside friends as they celebrated his recovery following the accident. The group also sang in response to critics who had wished him harm after news of the crash broke.
