Nigerian comedian I Go Save has reacted to the rising insecurity in the country, questioning the silence of First Ladies across Nigeria over the abduction of schoolchildren and teachers in Oyo State.

Naija News reports that in a post shared on his Instagram story, the comedian expressed anger over the continued captivity of innocent children, asking why leaders and mothers in positions of influence have not spoken out or taken stronger action.

He said their silence makes the situation worse and called for urgent intervention to secure the release of the victims.

He wrote: “Where are all the First Ladies in this country; Are you people true mothers? How do you all sleep at night knowing these innocent kids are still in captivity and being dehumanized? Your behaviors are making the Devi look like a good man. Speak up, act and get those Kids out now 💔. Nigeria Toothless Lionesses why are y’all silent? Speak up for these innocent kids 💔💔”

Naija News recalls that suspected gunmen attacked two communities in Oriire Local Government Area on Friday, May 15, 2026.

During the attack, two people were killed while several pupils and teachers were abducted.

Two days after the incident, one of the abducted teachers from Community High School, Ahoro Esinele, identified as Michael Oyedokun, was reportedly killed by the attackers in a video that later surfaced online.
