Soroi Collection has expanded its Kenya portfolio with the opening of Soroi Amboseli and Soroi Blue, Diani, adding new safari and beach options to its existing circuit.

The Kenyan-owned collection already has properties in the Maasai Mara, Samburu and Lumo Conservancy bordering Tsavo West. The two additions allow operators to package itineraries combining northern and southern safari regions with the Indian Ocean coast.

Amboseli addition

Soroi Amboseli is located inside Amboseli National Park, giving guests direct access to the park.

The camp has 13 luxury safari tents, two two-bedroom family suites and the Oldonyo Starbed Suite.

Facilities include an infinity pool overlooking the marsh and a bush spa. Activities include open-vehicle game drives, sundowners, sunrise breakfasts at Observation Hill, hot air balloon safaris and cultural visits.

The Oldonyo Starbed Suite features a private plunge pool, indoor and outdoor showers, butler service and an open-air starbed.

Diani opening

Soroi Blue has opened on Diani Beach as a 10-room boutique property, providing a beach extension to Soroi safari itineraries.

Accommodation includes garden and ocean-view rooms, junior suites and the Bahari Blue Executive Suite with several room categories suitable for families.

Activities include deep-sea fishing, dolphin safaris, golf, excursions to Mombasa and Kaya Kinondo Sacred Forest and private beach dining.

Wider Kenya circuit

The additions enable operators to build Soroi itineraries incorporating Samburu, the Maasai Mara, Amboseli, Lumo Conservancy/Tsavo and Diani Beach.

Domestic air connections link several of the destinations while road and train connections allow Amboseli to be combined with Lumo and Lumo with Diani.

“The addition of Amboseli and Diani means our trade partners can now create a much more comprehensive Soroi journey through Kenya, combining Samburu, the Mara, Amboseli and Tsavo with the coast,” said Gabriele Nowak, CEO of Soroi Collection.

“Our aim is to make it easier for operators to build diverse Kenya itineraries while keeping guests within one collection.”

Soroi plans to expand its portfolio again in June 2027 with an “ultra-luxury” tented camp inside Nairobi National Park, providing international guests with an option to begin or end a wider Kenya itinerary close to the capital.
