Pastor Femi Lazarus relocates to Kenya with family, says “It’s God’s instruction”

Founder of Light Nation Church, Femi Lazarus, has reportedly relocated to Kenya with his family.

The development was announced in a viral video from a church service in Kenya.

In the clip, Reverend Julian Kyula of The Purpose Centre Church addressed the congregation, announcing that the pastor would now be based in Kenya.

“God has put it in the apostle’s heart at this time to be based in Kenya,” the reverend said, with the audience clapping and screaming.

Mr Kyula described the development as a significant move for the Christian community, as Mr Lazarus would be moving for ministry.

“When global voices that God is using in a generation make a decision that this shall be a base,” Mr Kyula said.

He stated that Mr Lazarus, his family, and ministry team, were all moving, praying that they be accepted in their new environment.

Mr Lazarus, who appeared on stage alongside his wife, also addressed the congregation, describing the move as directed by God.

“That is the instruction God gave to us. It is a very significant morning for us in this new phase of our assignment. That God said we have to be here,” he said.

He added, “We came to be blessed here and launched forth here. We didn’t just come to listen to the word. We came recognising that this is not just a church, but a gate.”

Mr Lazarus is known for his teachings through Light Nation Church and his online platforms, and  has built a strong following among Nigerian youths both home and abroad.
