According to Zagazola Makama, a security and counterinsurgency expert on his verified X account, “Security sources said the suspect was apprehended at about 3:00 p.m. on April 13 at Mayir village during a joint operation involving troops of Sector 7 (Sub-sector 71) and operatives of the Nigeria Police, Kafanchan Division.”
