Mantrac Ghana has demonstrated its commitment to operational excellence and customer-focused innovation by successfully hosting industry stakeholders at the 2026 Mantrac Component Rebuild Centre (CRC) Experience at its facility in Biakakrom in the Western Region.

Themed “Powering Progress”, the event offered guests an exclusive behind the scenes look at the world class safety standards, technical expertise, and local talent powering the Mantrac CRC.

Designed as a transparent, immersive, and educational engagement, the CRC Experience opened with a warm welcome from the Mantrac Ghana leadership team, who highlighted the strategic role of the CRC in helping customers achieve more cost-effective, reliable, and long-lasting equipment performance.

The event brought together government officials, traditional leaders, and industry players, reflecting the strong multi-stakeholder interest in advancing Ghana’s industrial and mining sectors.

Notable attendees included the Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Hon. Emmanuel Armah Kofi Buah; Hon. Dorcas Affo-Toffey, Deputy Minister of Transport and Member of Parliament for the Jomoro Constituency; Hon. Joseph Nelson, Western Regional Minister; Isaac Andrews Tandoh, CEO of the Minerals Commission of Ghana, Hon. Mavis Kuukua Bissue, Ahanta West Member of Parliament; Ing. Dr. Kenneth Ashigbey, CEO of the Ghana Chamber of Mines; Mr. Eric Tetteh-Addison, Director for Policy, Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation at the Ministry of Transport; Hon. Ing. Ebenezer Aidoo, Municipal Chief Executive; as well as traditional leaders including Nana Asabre III of Biakakrom, Nana Kra Kojo II of Ewusiejoe, and Nana Nwinwa Nwinwa IV of Hotopo.

Also in attendance was Mr. Abdul-Aziz Jenku Seidu, Special Aide to the Deputy Minister of Transport.

Guests were briefed on Mantrac’s broader mission to strengthen Ghana’s industrial ecosystem through skills development, technology investment, and Caterpillar-certified processes.

Once the tour commenced, dignitaries were taken through the key stages of the rebuild journey, from teardown and inspection to machining, assembly, and performance testing. At each station, Mantrac technicians explained the precision, discipline, and quality assurance steps that ensure every rebuilt component meets Caterpillar’s global standards.

A standout highlight of the event was the live demonstration, where technicians showcased the diagnostic processes and testing procedures that guarantee reliability before any rebuilt component is returned to a customer. This segment reinforced the CRC’s position as a vital resource for reducing equipment downtime, extending machine life, and helping customers manage operational costs more efficiently.

Delivering remarks after touring the facility, the Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Hon. Emmanuel Armah Kofi Buah, commended Mantrac Ghana for its contribution to Ghana’s industrial ecosystem and expressed optimism about future collaboration.

“We’ve just toured the facility and are already envisioning a strong collaboration with Mantrac. It is clear that Mantrac empowers progress in Ghana, as demonstrated here through its ability to provide virtually every piece of equipment and tool required across industries. From energy to construction, mining, and even milling, their capabilities are impressive, bringing equipment back to life through repairs and ensuring industries continue to operate efficiently.

“At its core, what stands out is their commitment to safety and quality. That is the foundation upon which we look forward to building this collaboration,” said Hon. Kofi Buah.

The engagement also emphasized Mantrac Ghana’s commitment to developing local talent. The CRC is staffed by highly trained Ghanaian technicians whose skills have been enhanced through structured technical training, a mentorship programme, and continuous development aligned with global Caterpillar requirements.

The event provided a platform to spotlight their expertise and the pivotal role they play in delivering superior product support across the country.

In his closing remarks, the Managing Director of Mantrac Ghana, Mr Pierre Hill, thanked all dignitaries and stakeholders for honoring the invitation and reaffirmed Mantrac’s readiness to deepen partnerships that support national development.

“This Experience is a reflection of our commitment to transparency, reliability, and customer success,” he noted. “The work we do here at the CRC helps our customers achieve greater uptime, better equipment performance, and long term cost savings. We are proud to demonstrate these capabilities to our partners.”

The event concluded with a networking session that allowed guests to engage directly with Mantrac engineers, technicians, and support teams.

The 2026 CRC Experience reinforced the significant role Mantrac Ghana continues to play in supporting the nation’s construction, mining, oil & gas, quarryi, energy, and industrial sectors. Through advanced facilities like the CRC and ongoing investment in local expertise, the company remains committed to powering progress and delivering world class support solutions that customers can trust.
