President John Mahama engaged residents of the Bono Region as part of his “Resetting Ghana” tour, outlining key government policies, ongoing projects, and his administration’s commitment to transparency and inclusive growth.

During the interaction, the President highlighted a number of infrastructure and development initiatives aimed at improving livelihoods and driving economic activity in the region.

He cited progress on the Jinijini–Sampa Road project, ongoing GETFund-supported developments at Sunyani Senior High School, and the rollout of 24-hour economy markets across districts nationwide.

President Mahama also referenced plans for the construction of a new airport at Nsoatre to replace the existing Sunyani Airport, as part of efforts to improve connectivity and support regional development.

He reiterated the government’s focus on delivering inclusive growth through strategic investments in infrastructure and social services, assuring residents of continued engagement and accountability in the implementation of policies.
