ghana news GCB Bank rewards customers under ‘Pa to Pa’ Promotion

GCB Bank has rewarded customers under its Pa to Pa Promotion, a savings initiative designed to appreciate loyal clients and encourage stronger savings habits.

The winners were drawn from across the country, reflecting GCB Bank’s nationwide reach.

Prizes awarded included smart television sets, chest freezers, cookers, washing machines and other electronic appliances.

The Pa to Pa promo was launched on December 1, 2025, to reward customers for their loyalty while motivating them to save more.

Speaking at the second edition of the rewards ceremony in Accra last Friday (March 13), the Executive Head of Retail Banking at GCB Bank, Sina Kamagate, explained that the promotion rewarded 10 customers each month with various prizes.

He said the first three months of monthly draws had been completed, with 30 customers taking home rewards.

Another 10 winners are expected in the next draw, ahead of the grand finale in April.

By the end of the campaign, 40 customers would have received rewards from the monthly draws, while 10 winners would be selected in the grand finale.

Grand prizes

Five grand prize winners are expected to travel to watch Ghana’s FIFA World Cup group stage matches live at the soccer fiesta.

Mr Kamagate encouraged customers who had not yet participated to deposit money in multiples of GH¢300 to increase their chances of winning.

He added that new customers could join the promotion by opening accounts through the bank’s website or mobile application, while customers with dormant accounts could qualify by reactivating their accounts.

He encouraged customers to maintain their deposits for longer periods to accumulate more points and improve their chances of winning prizes.

Prizes

Mr Kamagate stated that the grand draw would reward 10 winners overall, with five of them travelling to watch matches involving Ghana’s national football team live during the World Cup tournament’s group stage.

For his part, the Liability Products Manager at GCB Bank, Richard Wobil, indicated that April 2026 would mark the last participation period for the promotion, allowing sufficient time for customers and prospective customers to join the promo.

Some awardees commended the management of GCB Bank for the initiative, describing the Pa to Pa Promotion as a motivating programme that encouraged customers to cultivate the habit of saving while rewarding their loyalty with attractive prizes.
