Kumawu (Ash), March 12, GNA – Ernest Yaw Anim, Member of Parliament for Kumawu, has lauded the cooperation between political actors and traditional authorities in addressing the developmental needs of the area.

Speaking at the inauguration of a newly constructed community centre for the chiefs and people of Kumawu, Mr Anim expressed appreciation to Kwasi Amankwaa, District Chief Executive (DCE), the district assembly, and the paramount chief, Barima Sarfo Tweneboa Kodua, for their support in completing the project.

He pledged his commitment to working closely with the DCE, district assembly, and traditional authorities to accelerate development across the district.

Mr Kwasi Amankwaa reaffirmed the assembly’s dedication to supporting projects that enhance residents’ welfare and living conditions.

Barima Sarfo Tweneboa Kodua praised the government and assembly for completing the facility, describing it as a major development benefiting the Kumawu traditional area. He urged stakeholders to maintain the centre carefully and called on the MP to continue working in unity with the DCE to promote progress and development.

The community centre is expected to serve as a hub for community engagement, public administration, and social events, strengthening civic participation and development in Kumawu and surrounding commununities
