Ghana international Antoine Semenyo has earned a Premier League Player of the Month nomination for February following a string of impressive performances for Manchester City.
Since joining the club from AFC Bournemouth in January, the 26-year-old has quickly become a pivotal figure.
Semenyo found the net three times last month, scoring in a 2-2 draw against Spurs and helping secure wins over Fulham and Leeds United. He also set up a goal for Nico O’Reilly in the victory against Fulham.
The former Bristol City forward has showcased his versatility, featuring both in midfield and as a centre-forward.
In just eight appearances for Manchester City, Semenyo has already scored five goals, contributing to a total of 14 goals and four assists across 28 Premier League matches this season.
Semenyo will compete for the February award alongside Arsenal striker Viktor Gyokeres, teammate Nico O’Reilly, Brentford forward Dango Ouattara, Manchester United striker Benjamin Sesko, and Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk.
Fans can cast their votes until 12:00 GMT on Monday, 9 March, with the winner set to be revealed next week.
