A New Era of Agricultural Land Investment in Nigeria

In an era where investors increasingly seek assets that deliver both long-term value and immediate economic relevance, Astracrest Investment Limited, under the leadership of its Managing Director, Adejare Michael Adetomiwa, ispioneering a model that blends real estate investment with sustainable agriculture.

The company’s flagship agric-real estate project, Starcrest Palm Estates, launched in September 2025, is designed to change how Nigerians perceive land ownership — moving beyond speculative appreciation toward productive investment capable of generating recurring income.

Bridging the Gap between Land Ownership and Cash Flow

Traditionally, land investors purchase property and wait five to ten years for appreciation before realizing returns. Astracrest Investment Limited identified this waiting period as a major gap within Nigeria’s real estate ecosystem.

According to Adejare Michael, the vision behind Starcrest Palm Estates is simple yet transformative: “We wanted to create an investment model where clients do not just own land, but own a productive asset. While their land appreciates, agriculture works for them — creating an additional income stream.”

Throught his model, investors acquire land already integrated with oil palm cultivation, enabling them to benefit from both property appreciation and agricultural yield.

Supporting Nigeria’s Food Security Agenda

Nigeria continues to import over $600million worth of oil palm products annually, highlighting a significant supply deficit despite the country’s favorable agricultural climate.

Recognizing this opportunity, Astracrest Investment Limited positioned Starcrest Palm Estates as both an investment platform and a contribution toward national food security.

The company aims to help close the supply ap by expanding oil palm cultivation while empowering private investors to participate in agricultural production without needing farming expertise.

From Vision to Execution: Structured Development Approach

Unlike conventional land projects, Astracrest Investment Limited adopted a development-first strategy immediately after acquiring the property.

  • Full site     clearing     and     environmental preparation
  • Construction of a security house to safeguard the estate
  • Bush clearing and controlled tree removal
  • Perimeter fencing for land protection
  • Borehole development to enable irrigation
  • Ongoing title perfection processes
  • Fencing of project boundaries and gate house

This structured execution reflects the company’s commitment to delivery, transparency, and investor confidence.

Strategic Partnership for Quality Seedlings

Understanding that oil palm cultivation requires quality inputs, Astracrest Investment Limited partnered with the National Institute for Oil Palm Research (NIFOR) in Benin City to source high-quality seedlings.

Rather than starting from nursery-stage seedlings, the company invested in one-year-old improved seedlings, significantly reducing the waiting period before production begins.

Oil palm trees typically begin fruiting within four years, but this approach helps investors move closer to revenue generation sooner.

Currently, over 30,000 square meters have been allocated to clients, and more than 1,000 oil palm seedlings have been planted with additional planting ongoing.

Expanding the Vision: Starcrest The Annex

Building on the success of Starcrest Palm Estates, Astracrest Investment Limited has introduced a complementary project — Starcrest The Annex Agro Estate.

The expansion integrates coconut cultivation, plantain farming, and oil palm production, further diversifying agricultural outputs and strengthening long-term investment sustainability.

A New Direction for Real Estate Investment

For Adejare Michael and his team, the mission extends beyond selling land. The company seeks to redefine investment culture by aligning real estate with economic productivity, environmental sustainability, and national development goals.

“Agriculture is no longer just farming; it is an investment vehicle. Our goal is to help investors build wealth while contributing to Nigeria’s food security and economic growth,” Adejare Michael stated.

Building Trust through Delivery

As Astracrest Investment Limited continues development across its agric-estate projects, the company emphasizes transparency, structured execution, and timely allocation as pillars of its operations.

A Future Built on Opportunity

As interest in agric-backed real estate investments continues to grow, Astracrest Investment Limited is positioning itself at the forefront of a new investment movement — one that combines land ownership, agricultural productivity, and long-term wealth creation.

For investors, the message is clear: the future of real estate is no longer defined solely by waiting for appreciation, but by owning assets that work, grow, and generate value over time.

According to Managing Director Adejare Michael Adetomiwa, the journey is only beginning. “Our vision is bigger than a single project. We are building systems that allow investors participate in sustainable wealth creation while contributing to national development. Starcrest Palm Estates is just the foundation — and we have only just begun.”

With ongoing expansion plans and new agric-estate developments underway, Astracrest Investment Limited remains committed to delivering structured investments that create impact, security, and prosperity for investors across Nigeria and beyond.
