Founder of Action Chapel International, Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams, has condemned some Ghanaian politicians he describes as corrupt and greedy.

In a video shared on social media on February 27, 2026, the outspoken cleric stated that some politicians in the country, aside from politics, lack the capacity to generate income through other means.

According to Duncan-Williams, many politicians thrive on propaganda, with the ultimate aim of discrediting the ruling party through falsehoods to gain power.

He further noted that the persistent negative criticism within Ghana’s political space is harming the country. He added that individuals who rely solely on political parties for financial gain often perform poorly when appointed to positions in government.

“Some of you, your future depends on a political party to make money. Unless your party comes into power, you cannot make money because you haven’t developed the capacity to do so. You need your political party to be in power to make money. So whenever your party is out of power, you pursue the party in office and scheme against them.

“You lie against them. It doesn’t matter how well they perform; you must sabotage and destroy them so you can come to power. Then, when you come to power, what you did to them, they “will also do to you until you lose power again, because they, too, must return. This cycle continues because people have not developed the capacity to create wealth,” he said.

While preaching to his congregation, Duncan-Williams also pronounced curses on politicians involved in looting the country’s resources.

According to him, such politicians will die prematurely after acquiring luxury through the national coffers.

Turning his attention to the wives of such politicians, the cleric warned that they would face similar consequences.

“…You enjoy it, give him more sex, and encourage him to kill, lie, steal, scheme, destroy, and make money at the expense of poor people. And you don’t understand the implications. He will die prematurely. His days will be few. He will not live long enough to enjoy that house. He will not live long enough to enjoy that brand-new car.

“Because he didn’t sweat for it, he didn’t work for it, he cannot keep it. Whatever you did not earn, you cannot maintain. You only maintain what you have built the capacity for and paid a price for,” he added.
