Launch of DoorMaster Secure+ Launch of DoorMaster Secure+

DoorMaster Ghana has officially launched DoorMaster Secure+, a first-of-its-kind security innovation that combines premium security doors with built-inmhomeowners insurance protection against fire, burglary, flood and other perils.

The launch event brought together architects, insurance executives, real estate developers, clergy, community leaders and key stakeholders within the property and construction space.

This groundbreaking initiative positions DoorMaster as a trailblazer in Ghana’s security industry by integrating structural protection with financial risk coverage redefining what comprehensive property security means.

A New Standard for Property Protection

Speaking at the ceremony, Josephine Anquandah, Head of Sales and Marketing at DoorMaster Ghana, described the launch as a transformative milestone for the company and the country’s building industry.

“Today is not just about launching a product; it is about raising the standard of security in Ghana. Secure+ reflects our commitment to ensuring that homeowners and business owners are protected both physically and financially,” she said.

According to her, the concept behind Secure+ was inspired by a critical question: Is a strong door alone enough in today’s environment?

That question led to the development of a solution that merges DoorMaster’s Royal and Special Series security doors with complimentary insurance coverage backed by Star Assurance.

What Secure+ Offers

DoorMaster Secure+ provides customers with high-performance security doors featuring:

•Reinforced steel core construction •Multi-point locking systems •Anti-pry hinges •Smart lock technology (fingerprint, face ID and passcode access) •Anti-fade, climate-resistant finishes designed for Ghana’s weather

Beyond physical protection, customers also receive insurance coverage against fire, burglary and flood offering an additional layer of financial security in the event of unforeseen damage or loss.

Company officials say this dual-protection model directly addresses rising concerns about property safety, climate-related risks and increasing urban security challenges.

Industry Endorsement

Architect Ofosu Kwakye, who delivered remarks at the event, endorsed the initiative as an innovative solution aligned with modern building standards.

He noted that as urban development accelerates, security solutions must evolve beyond traditional approaches.

“Developers and homeowners are looking for comprehensive protection. Integrating security infrastructure with insurance support is a forward-thinking move,” he stated.

Representatives from Star Assurance also reaffirmed their commitment to the collaboration, emphasizing that the partnership was formed after recognizing a shared vision of protecting lives, properties and investments.

DoorMaster currently operates 15 branches nationwide, making Secure+ accessible to homeowners, developers and businesses across the country.

Company officials noted that the rollout of Secure+ across all branches ensures that customers everywhere can benefit from this innovative combination of structural strength and insurance-backed assurance.

With this launch, DoorMaster is setting a new benchmark in Ghana’s security door industry, blending strength, innovation and financial protection into one comprehensive solution.

Homeowners, developers, architects and contractors are invited to visit any of DoorMaster’s 15 branches nationwide to experience Secure+ firsthand.
