Kuwait City, Feb. 4, GNA – The fifth General Assembly (GA) of the Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO), the annual meeting that brings together Ministers from DCO Member States, including Ghana, is underway in Kuwait City, the Kuwaiti capital.

The Assembly provides a platform for collaboration, dialogue and strategic decision-making in the pursuit of inclusive digital prosperity among member countries.

Each year, the GA convenes Member States, observers, partners, guest nations and international organizations to assess the evolving global digital economy and address challenges related to equitable and sustainable digital growth.

The 5th GA marks a significant moment for the DCO as it enters a new phase of strategic focus.

Hosted by the State of Kuwait, this year’s event is framed around the theme: “Inclusive Prosperity in the Age of AI,” underscoring the organization’s commitment to fostering inclusive, secure and sustainable digital transformation across member states and beyond.

High-level government officials, ministers and senior representatives from all 16 Member States, together with guest countries, are participating in the Assembly.
