A viral video has captured a heavily pregnant woman lying on the grave of Ghana’s founding father, Dr Kwame Nkrumah all in the name of a pregnancy craving.

The one-minute thirty-six-second clip, shared on X on Saturday, January 24, 2026, shows the woman in a striking green gown, fulfilling what she described as an urgent emotional craving; the need to cry.

Her husband reportedly brought her to the burial site to help her satisfy the unusual urge. In the footage, he is heard saying, “You said you wanted to cry last night, so this is Dr Kwame Nkrumah’s burial ground, this is his grave. Be fast, and let’s go. You said you are craving to cry, so do so and let’s go. Cry fast, babe, and let’s go, babe.”

The pregnant woman is then seen lying on the grave, letting the tears flow.

The video has since sparked a flurry of reactions online, with many users both amused and surprised by the unusual nature of pregnancy cravings.

Some called it “unique devotion,” while others joked, “That’s one way to tick off a pregnancy craving checklist!”
