Accra, Jan 14, GNA – Devtraco Group, an indigenous real estate development company, has reiterated its commitment to building sustainable, future-ready developments that create lasting value for clients.

At a media and stakeholder engagement in Accra, management of the company emphasised transparency, collaboration, innovation and sustainable growth as the group continued to position itself as a leader in the real estate and hospitality sector.

The event also saw the official introduction of The Pelican Hotel, the latest addition to the Group’s growing portfolio.

Mr Sidney Quaye, the Director for Development, said the Group’s 30-year-journey in the industry proved that world-class developments could be conceived, financed, delivered, and sustained by Ghanaian expertise.

He highlighted the company’s track record of creating exquisite and long-lasting developments, describing The Pelican Hotel as the Group’s strategic expansion into experience-driven developments and premium hospitality.

“The Pelican Hotel is not just a building, but as a statement of intent, combining thoughtful design, quality service delivery, and international hospitality standards while remaining authentically Ghanaian,” Mr Quaye said.

“It represents Devtraco Group’s vision for urban leisure, lifestyle, and investment experiences in Ghana,”

Mr Francis Okoh Okai, Group CEO,  acknowledged the critical role of the media in shaping public discourse and reaffirmed the Group’s commitment to engaging with them for a deeper understanding of the real estate sector and in telling the Group’s story,

He encouraged open dialogue and engagement as the Group continued to evolve and leave a meaningful legacy for future generations.

He lauded the various partners in the real estate sector for their continued collaboration and commitment to advancing the growth of the industry.

Mr Okai hailed the The Pelican Hotel, located at Cantonments in Accra, as a premium hospitality destination, designed for relaxation and productivity.

Participants at the session took a tour of the facility to gain firsthand insight into the hotel’s design philosophy, amenities, service standards, and overall guest experience.

It has134 rooms and suites that cater to both short and long-term stays, with a focus on comfort, elegance, and functional design.

“The hotel is dedicated to offering personalised service and an authentic Ghanaian experience, and ranked as an ideal destination for travellers,” he said.

Managers aim to position the facility as the most sought-after destination in Accra, offering a perfect harmony of comfort, local culture, and unparalleled service.

“We aim to redefine the hospitality experience by setting new standards in the industry, ensuring every guest’s stay is not only memorable but transformative,” Mr Okai said.
