Reality TV star, Phyna declared her readiness in making peace with singer Davido, nearly two years after their online disagreement.
Naija News reports the clash began in October 2023 when Davido liked a post on X that referred to Phyna’s fans as “useless.”
Phyna reacted at the time, questioning why Davido seemed to hold negative feelings toward her.
The singer later stated that he did not know who she was, which led Phyna to respond and unfollow him on Instagram.
In a recent livestream on Twitch, Phyna shared that she is ready to apologise publicly to Davido and hopes to reconnect with him.
She also said she wants to understand what caused the disagreement, saying that the initial incident may have been a misunderstanding.
Phyna indicated that before apologizing, she hopes Davido will clarify his side of the story so that both parties can address the issue fully and move forward.
She said: “If I have the opportunity to stream with Davido, I will take it. Yea he senior me, he choke pass me normal. I’m going to tender apology to him, but before rendering the apology, we need to understand where that our quarrel really dey come from.
“Like baba Ibeji needs to really tell me that na by mistake him take like that comment wey cause probably. Then he will now explain his side of the issue because you see that I don’t know you wey baba Ibeji talk, e fit be like say na we take am the wrong way”.
