Hisense Gives UGMC 4D Ultra Sound Machine, Large Screen TV Sets | Health

Household name in electrical appliances, Hisense Ghana has yet again supported a medical facility – University of Ghana Medical Center, with items worth over $50,000.

The items included a brand new HD60 Series Color Doppler Ultrasound Diagnostic Apparatus worth $40,000 and its accessories, five 50 Smart 4K T2 Television and 85 Smart 4K T2 Television worth 46,000 Cedis.

The gesture was one of several donations the award-winning company has presented to a health facility in the country.

Hisense’s brand ambassador, Nana Ama McBrown on behalf of the electronic outfit management mentioned that the gesture forms part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility.

“My boss is careful in choosing where to offer support, this is not the first time we are supporting a health facility. Human lives do matter a lot to him,” said McBrown.

She added, “we believe this will go a long way in helping the maternity department of the center, it is a necessity at medical centers in this age and time, but its expensive nature has denied many pregnant women its usefulness.

“Indeed, this is what informed management’s decision to make this gesture.”

CEO of UGMC, Dr. Kwame Anim Boamah, Director of Operations, UGMC, Lucy Brimpong Ofori-Ayeh in separate words expressed thanks to the management of Hisense for the gesture, they termed as generous.

The Tarkwa government hospital, Adjiringanor Medical Center, Oblogo Medical facility, Amanhyia Health Centre, among others have benefitted from Hisense’s donations.
