The Ashanti regional chairman of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr Bernard Antwi Boasiako has strongly debunked claims that he is involved in illegal small-scale mining (galamsey).
Chairman Wontumi as affectionately called in an interview with NEAT FM’s morning show, Ghana Montie said reports claiming his company was stopped by taskforce operators in the Tano Nimiri forest reserve are incorrect.
“I don’t engage in Galamsey, I know the right thing and will not do anything that the president is fighting against.” He said
