Kwame A-Plus has served a notice on his Facebook page to Ghanaians about some perceptions people have about Chinese who come into the country to do business.
According to him, most people believe that all ‘Chinese persons’ who come into the country are into illegal activities illegal mining and other illegal businesses.
According to Kwame A-Plus, there are some good Chinese in the country who have created employment for the Ghanaian people. He mentioned names such as Zonda Motors and Tang Palace as businesses that have employed a lot of Ghanaians.
He added that a lot of Ghanaians travel outside the country to find greener pastures and it is the same thing Chinese people come into the country for greener pastures. With this, he believes that the country should also treat the Chinese the same respect they get when they travel to other countries for greener pastures. He added that some Chinese are into legal mining activities which are not against the laws of the country.
“There are some good Chinese people who have created employment and supported our economy with huge investments; Tang Palace, Zonda Motors, just to mention a few, are examples of Chinese people who deserve the highest commendation” he said.
Having said that, Kwame A Plus made it clear that other Chinese come into the country to do illegal activities galamsey activities. However, he believes that Ghanaians should appreciate and show respect to every foreign person that comes into the country.
“What we do not want is Yakubu Huang, Issifu Huang, Haruna Huang; please, don’t do what a Ghanaian cannot do in China. Let love and respect for each other’s country, laws, culture and traditions lead us all” he added.
