Guinea Prepare Bid To Host 2025 CAN

Doumbouya wants to develop every sector of the Guinean economy and has charged his ministers and other appointees to work assiduously to ensure the visions of the country are materialized.

Interested in the sporting activities, the interim president of the transition has expressed his country’s interest and has prepared a bid to host the 2025 African cup of nations.

In addition, the junta has pledged to provide the needed funds and lands for the construction of stadiums across the length and breadth of the country.

This desire to speed up work to meet CAF criteria was made known when executives from the sporting body visited Guinea to ascertain the progress they have made in hosting the event.

Guinea as a country has been under military rule since the ousting of the octogenarian leader, Alpha Conde and security is of grave concern. That notwithstanding, Doumbouya has posited that the hosting of the event is of National interest and a priority.
