Those who upload or publish information that makes others feel threatened, disturbed, or terrified should face a minimum fine of up to half a million or many years in prison.

This affects social media users as well, where the bulk of cyber bullying incidences are reported. According to World Wide Web research, more than one in five Ghanaian women have experienced cyber bullying on social media sites. In some cases, this could be in the form of text messages or social media posts that could affect a person’s mental health.

5. Violating Trademark Rules 

violator willfully infringed the trademark, the court can multiply damages threefold. A violator can also be required to pay the trademark owner.
