The member of Parliament for Nhyiaeso Constituency who also happens to be a leading member of the NPP, Hon. Stephen Amoah has boldly revealed strong secrets about the rising cost of living under the leadership of President Akufo-Addo. The inflation rate in the country is at 27 percent and it happens to be a record high in the country.
While speaking about the increasing rate of inflation in the country, Hon. Stephen Amoah revealed that the problem we are facing now as a country is a 40- year problem and it has got nothing to do with Akufo-Addo government. He reveals that, he doesn’t think the government is sleeping on the rising cost of living.
“The problem we’re having today, any honest person will tell you, it’s not today’s issue. It’s been with us [for] years. So I’m preaching to every stakeholder who has what it takes to come on board and let us all make sure [to help]. Sometimes we get it wrong and right, [but]we’re all helping. At present, it’s on the government, and I don’t think the government is sleeping. The fact is, [we] have 40 year-old problems.” Hon. Stephen Amoah boldly revealed this on News File on Saturday.
