A critic of Kofi Kapito sent a text message to Dzifa Bampoe to be read to the people of Ghana and Kofi Kapito himself but whato happened after the message was read is a story that needs to be told. According to the serial texter, Kofi Kapito demonstrated on the streets during the NDC Era but has stopped due to partisan interests. He asked Kofi Kapito why he is pursuing his personal interest instead of fighting for the course of the people.

This message did not sit well for Kofi and so he told Dzifa how this same serial texter keeps sending this same messages any where he goes. He told Dzifa that the texter can call him if he has personal issues with him but then he is not happy about his comments.

According to Kofi Kapito, the serial texter should know that he, Kofi, is a Ghanaian and has every right to demonstrate on the streets when he fights any thing go wrong in the country. Kofi Kapito further explained that, he is past sixty years and does not have the same energy that he used to have. He asked why the serial texter has not organized a street demonstration himself. Kofi exclaimed that due to the love he has for the country, he came back to set up businesses and pay salaries after having stayed in the United States for more than twenty years and that shows how patriotic he is . He also explained that, what hurts him is the fact that persons who are partisan and represent some political parties would take advantage if even he organizes a street demonstration and such persons will join his campaign to malign the ruling NPP government even though he is not partisan.

Kofi, the opinion leader, also clarified to the critic that he is a capitalist and would be happy to see businesses and individuals flourish. Kofi said that he would appreciate if Ghanaians come together, not on political lines, to demonstrate against the cruel increase in tarrifs.
