26 year old Nompilo has been battling Cystic Fibrosis all her life and yesterday she took to twitter to tell her followers that she is ready to die. She says she is happy because she lived her life to the fullest and urged everyone to put themselves first and enjoy everyday like its their last day.
” I know that my time is limited. I have known my purpose and I feel like I have lived up to it. When I pray, I tell God to heal me completely or to take me. I gave it my best. I have been through so much. I have been through childhood traumas like rape, molestation and being born with this incurable disease. I want you to live your life to the fullest and appreciate life.”
It’s hard to imagine how a person who has had to endure the many hardships that Nompilo has faced could ever find a way to be with what life has handed her. But Nompilo’s attitude is proof that happiness is achievable, no matter what obstacles you’re given.
