To start with, I’m not a supporter of any party in Ghana. I only want to see my dear nation progress to it’s maximum capacity. Many people tend to insult those of us who always talk about the poor governance by the NPP. Mind you, we are the same people that complain bitterly during the tenure of the opposition party NDC headed by ex president John Mahama.

In 2015, when Ghana was experiencing power shedding, a host of top top celebrities like Sarkodie, Van Vicker, Yvonne Nelson among others took to their social media handles to lambast the then ruling government for not being able to stabilize the country’s power. Sarkodie particular was so obsessed by how inflation and power shedding were affecting people and their business. At that point he was making sense because the country was indeed not in good shape. So we voted NDC out of power in 2016 and brought in the NPP to try help stabilize the economy of the nation.

The first four years was not all that bad at least the implementation of the affordable senior high school policy and stabilizing the economy wasn’t bad at all. No one criticize them because they were doing a great job. The only minor thing was the promise he gave to end galamsey ( illegal mining). Of course he did end illegal mining but at the end it was the top wings in the party and some useless chiefs that were doing it more. Pathetic!!!

The second term of Nana Addo’s government haven’t been all that pleasant. Fix the country protest hit the nation few months ago with many people revealing their discomfort about the current running of the country. I hate to insult our traditional and political leaders. In fact I’m not a fan of those who do that but if you talk about NPP nowadays, the way their supporters come after you it just unacceptable. We are in a country where you can talk about NDC or NPP even if they don’t do as they promised.

Wake let’s build Ghana together. Thanks for reading this article.
