Hajia Abibata for more than five years now has been helping women entrepreneurs by giving them small loan facilities to improve their businesses. She has also consistently supported farmers in her beloved Yendi Constituency with farm inputs every farming season in an effort to improve their yields and enhance their livelihoods. She has also helped to empower many people by securing jobs and education scholarships for them. From 2017, she discharged her role as Deputy CEO at MASLOC, so efficiently and effectively that the President upon winning a second term of office in the 2020 elections saw it prudent to elevate her to the role of substantive head of the state small and medium loans office, making her the first woman from Northern Ghana to have been appointed to that position.
As part of the award package presented to her at a short ceremony in her office by Chief Akilu Sayibu, MD of the Voiceless Media, The MASLOC boss received a citation and a Personal Accident Insurance cover to the tune of Ghc 100,000 from GLICO General.
Hajia Abibata upon receiving the award acknowledged the contributions of her staff at MASLOC, saying she could have achieved all that have been said of her withouth their support. She also thanked the Voiceless Media for the good works it has been executing in recent years.
