Aduana FC will look to keep the grip on the league summit when they host former champions, Berekum Chelsea in week nine of the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League.
Aduana and King Faisal share 17 points atop of the league log after week eight of games played. The “Ogya Boys”, whonare two time champions, have an impressive performance – losing just once, [3-1 ] in a home game to King Faisal in week two. They have gone on to record five wins and two draws, claiming 17 points in the process. Their five wins have come against Real Tamale United, Legon Cities, West Africa Football Academy, Great Olympics and AshantiGold. They held Karela United and defending champions, Hearts of Oak to 1-1 draws in weeks one and three respectively.
The clash against Berekum Chelsea should be somewhat a formality considering coach Joseph Asare Bediako has led his side to beat top clubs. Moreover, claiming 15 points from their last five matches puts them high above Berekum Chelsea who have struggled to win points this term.
