Nii Lantey Vanderpuye, the Odododiodio member of Parliament has poured his heart out concerning some common matters in this country.
Nana Addo has claimed certain projects and has announced several other projects as his and initiated by him.
Most of these projects that the country’s most powerful parties, the Npp and Ndc mostly argue about is the projects involving roads.
Ghanaians have been very concerned about roads because they feel it is one of the areas that needs maximum attention.
John Mahama during his term as a president made sure the year of roads was something that Ghanaians could remember.
As a result, he tried his best to construct overheads and fly overs and this is something that Nii Lantey has raised once again after his encounter.
According to Nii Lantey who was speaking on the neat fm evening show on the current state of the country, he stated that this government has got it all wrong.
According to him, the traffic in Ghana is enough to delay progress in the various sectors and he does not blame anyone but the poor management and leadership of this government.
According to Nii Lantey in the interview, he said, I used some Accra roads this week having some rounds and I must say that was a horrible experience.
He revealed that the reason why drivers are going on strike and complaining is because of no other issue than the fact that their petrol is exhausted or burnt out in traffic.
This raises cost and increase fuel consumption and expenditure whiles delaying work and productivity.
Even though this is something we have experienced for sometime now, he feels things are getting worse and they will keep on getting worse if this is continuously seen and overlooked.
Nii Lantey Vanderpuye also spoke about how Mahama tried his best to ease traffic and promote productivity and little time consumptions on the roads by providing more rods etc.
But all these have been shattered by the corrupt leadership of this government and it is a sad story to tell.
