Former Ghana Premier League champions, Berekum Chelsea might not have started the 2021/22 league term well but are bent on grinding results as the season wears on.

The “Bibires” traveled down South and managed to pick a point in a goalless draw at the El-Wak Stadium against Legon Cities FC in week seven. They have picked four points from their last three games – halting King Faisal’s unbeaten run in a 1-0 home win in week five before losing 1-0 to Real Tamale United at the Golden City Park in week six and an eventual goalless draw at Legon Cities FC on the seventh week. Head coach, Moses Cofie who is an ex-Ghana international, talks about working on his side’s goal scoring ability.

“In the beginning I told you we are here to win. “We did our best but you could see that the opponent were also aggressive and they also wanted to win. “But I think our best was not enough, our defence and our middle line was so ok but it has left with our finishing.

“So we will go out there and work for our finishing.” Moses Cofie said. Berekum Chelsea will next welcome West Africa Football Academy to the Golden City Park on Wednesday, December 5 for the week eight clash.
