Dela Coffie is a political activist, a journalist, a communicator and Right advocate in Ghana. He has recently given his support to Kwabena Duffour who wish to stand for flagbearership in the NDC.
Dr. duffour is said to contest with John Dramani Mahama as the Flag bearer of the National Democratic Congress.
Many people have started tagging Dr. Kwabena Duffour as an old person who will not be competent as the Flag Bearer for the NDC in 2024. They used the current President as an example that he has failed Ghanaians because of his age.
However Dela Coffie has come out to rubbish these allegations against Kwabena Duffour. Dela Coffie believes that, age doesn’t matter, it is the achievement of the person which counts. Kwabena Duffour was the minister of Finance in 2009 and he proved to be competent, and he will surely prove same when he is the president of the country.
Dela Coffie is urging all NDC members to stop using age to disqualify people from being their leader. He explained that old age even comes with more wisdom and Kwabena Duffour has a lot to give to Ghanaians.
He named some heads of states who came to power at an old age but still made their mark.
