The former special assistant to former president Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri has slammed those who are blaming the United Kingdom for banning travelers from Nigeria from entering into the country, as a result of Omicron COVID-19 variant that was recently discovered in Nigeria.
While reacting, Reno Omokri made it known that instead of accusing Britain of racism with this Omicron COVID-19 ban, we as Nigerians should address our governenmt wickedness.
Speaking further, the former presidential spokesperson made it known that this is country that hid palliatives in warehouses when citizens needed them most. He ended his tweet by stating it clearly that British is not our problem, but our government is our problem.
It should be recalled that the British government banned travelers from Nigeria from entering into the country, as a result of the new COVID-19 variant, Omicron, which was recently discovered in Nigeria.
On the other hand, I really think that Reno Omokri made a valid point here. Our major problem here in Nigeria is our government. Once we are able to elect credible people into government, we will know that things will get better for all of us.
