Joy News is member of the Multimedia Group in Ghana. It is one of the most reliable news hubs in Ghana. The media company has just released a list of ten most dangerous roads in Accra. These roads have been grouped according to areas where accidents often occur. Below is the list.
#1. Airport roads
Roads around the Kotoka Airports seem to be the most dangerous roads in Accra. The area recorded 41 fatalities, 110 serious injuries and 382 minor injuries.
#2. Adenta roads
Roads in Adenta seems be very dangerous to ply on. 21 fatalities, 86 serious injuries and 312 minor injuries were recorded in 2020 in that area. Drivers are urged to drive with care always.
#3. Odorkor roads
Odorkor roads recorded 21 fatalities, 83 serious injuries and 257 minor injuries.
#4. Tesano roads
Teseno seems to be one of the busiest places in Accra. 42 fatalities, 86 serious injuries and 158 minor injuries were recorded in the area.
#5. Kanashie roads
Eleven(11) fatalities occurred on the roads in Kanaahie, 86 serious injuries were recorded while 167 injuries were minor.
#6. Amasaman roads
Roads in Amasaman is number six most dangerous road in Accra. 17 fatalities occurred, 55 serious injuries were recorded and 183 minor injuries were also recorded.
#7. Kpeshie roads
Thirteen(13) fatalities were recorded, 90 serious injuries were recorded and 143 were minor injuries.
#8. Nima roads
Nima recorded 16 fatalities, 84 serious injuries and 139 minor injuries.
#9. Dansoman roads
Dansoman is number nine on the list. It recorded 3 fatalities, 14 serious injuries were recorded and 211 minor injuries were also recorded.
#10. Weija roads
Weija roads are the tenth most dangerous roads in Accra. 11 fatalities were recorded, 46 serious injuries were recorded and 122 minor injuries were also recorded.
