The Blues in their previous league game against Watford escaped with a marginal 2:1 victory. The Blues failed to continue their impressive run of being undefeated in 8 league games after losing to Manchester City few months ago. West Ham United gave Cheslea a really tough time today at the London Stadium. The Hammers fought back to level to scores after the Blues took the lead in the game. Chelsea restored their lead but another set of two goals from the Hammers settled everything for the Hammers. Chelsea dropped to the 2nd position after the loss today.
Liverpool grabbed the 3 needed points in their game against Wolves away from home. Liverpool’s victory has helped the Merseyside club to jump from its 3rd position to be the league leaders. Manchester City would be playing against Watford later in the day. The Cityzens has an opportunity to move to the top of the table if they win their game against Watford.
