Speaking in an interview on Okay FM’s Ekwansodwodwo with Abeiku Santana, Kwabena Kwabena stated that gone were the days when musicians in Ghana coexisted peacefully without promoting negativity or rubbishing another person’s craft but the same cannot be said about the present-day industry.

According to him, due to the lack of peaceful coexistence among entertainers in the country, celebs cannot call on their fellow celebs for help because of needless competitions and banters.

He cited an example using the recent multimillion fundraising scheme launched by the Nigerian singer Davido. Kwabena Kwabena stated that Davido called on his fellow colleagues in Nigeria to surprise him with money to the extent of mentioning the names of four musicians from Ghana to participate in the venture.

He claims that Davido has been able to build good relationships with the Ghanaian names he mentioned but Ghanaians can never do the same when venturing into the same scheme.
