TS Galaxy has released Ghanaian forward Mohammed Anas following complaints about his ‘bad luck’ at the club.

According to Citizen News South Africa, some Galaxy players expressed concern about Anas’ bad luck spreading to the entire team.

“Every team he’s played for here (in South Africa) has either avoided relegation by the skin of their teeth or been relegated.” He was at Maritzburg at the time, and they barely avoided relegation that season. He was at Free State Stars when they were relegated, and he was also at Polokwane City when they were relegated.

“He was with Black Leopards last season, and the same thing happened. The players were concerned that despite their efforts, no results were forthcoming. “He was quietly released by the club last week,” a source said.

Anas’ post-match interview went viral in 2017 after he thanked his wife and girlfriend. He, on the other hand, denied being unfaithful, saying, “My family is aware that I refer to my daughter as my girlfriend.” That’s what I was referring to. “I’m not in a relationship.”

The Kumasi-born player moved to South Africa from Eswatini in 2016 and has played for five clubs, including Maritzburg United and Black Leopards.
