Medikal, a hip hop rapper, and Shatta Wale, a close friend and music industry associate, have made a film based on their prison experience.
The two were arrested for separate crimes some time ago but were granted bail on the same day.
After both of them went through it, they returned with a new slogan, DTB, which stands for Deeper Than Blood, and also recorded a couple songs about it.
A recent YouTube video shows the two working on a music video for the remix of Shatta Wale’s Be Afraid, which now features Medikal.
As they poured their hearts out in their creative world, it was an experience that was turned into a film.
